Provenance: Found in an abandoned pawn shop in Gallup New Mexico.
C.N. Cotton owned trading posts in both Arizona and New Mexico. He spent years immersed in Indian culture and was one of the largest posts in the state. He had an extensive mail-order business and partnered with the Hubbell trading post as well.
