George Frederick Kaumeyer (1856-1951) was born in Michigan on November 21, 1856. By the late 1920s he had settled in Los Angeles. He died there on March 25, 1951. Member: Painters & Sculptors of Los Angeles. Exhibited: California State Fair, 1930; Artists Fiesta (Los Angeles), 1931; Lowe Galleries (Los Angeles), 1932; Gardena (CA) High School, 1933.
