Early and fine Zia Cooking Olla

With old note "Zia Bowl with bird and leaves design. This bowl was used to bake corn pudding. Corn husks were used to line the bowl before pouring in the pudding. Baking was done when bread was baked in outside oven". A rare example of a well used bowl made for pueblo use.
