1030 - 1150 AD
Height 6 1/2" Width 6 1/2" Length 8 1/4"
Provenance: Arizona Trade
A rare example with a pottery rod thru the center of the vessel making it possibly unique.
Red Mesa design range overlaps with Wepo and Black Mesa Black-on-white in the Kayenta area (organic paint, light paste, sand temper) and Holbrook A Black-on-white in the Little Colorado area (organic paint, dark paste, sherd temper).
