A remarkable bowl in the style of Pre Historic 4 mile pottery, complete with rain bird and tadpole designs. The legendary writer obtained this bowl in 1933 while visiting the Hopi people. He lived on Catalina for a period of time and built a home based on the design of the Taos Pueblo. This is the finest Hopi object we have ever had the pleasure of handling.
