This epic Navajo weaving is either a rug or possibly a blanket incorporating third phase chief's and eye dazzler designs. Weft count is approximately 30 to 34 per inch. Strong Ganado characteristics and is almost exclusively aniline dyes derived from coal tar. All wool and natural hand spun, locally dyed. This rug has never been cleaned or touched. Condition is as shown. A real masterpiece of Native American weaving art.
